  1. PolyField & Track Displays 4.3.0

    A big update to the Layout Builder, new field-event displays powered by PolyField Server, and a set of reliability fixes for start lists.

    • Redesigned Layout Builder — templates, drag-and-drop, undo, snapping guides, and assigning screens without leaving the builder.
    • New field-event widgets — Throws (a live landing map in the sector), Vertical Jumps (high jump / pole vault) and Jump Ruler (long / triple jump), driven live by PolyField Server.
    • Displays that follow the day's programme — point a widget at a set of events and it shows whichever one is in progress, moving on by itself.
    • Start lists update reliably — changes made in FinishLynx now replace the list on screen straight away.
    • Save diagnostics to Google Drive — one click to upload the logs bundle and get a shareable link.

  2. PolyField Server 1.11.0

    Pre-release

    • New app icon — the PolyField emblem in blue rings, on Mac and Windows.
    • Save to Google Drive — one click exports the competition (reports, graphics and a recovery file) to your own Google Drive and gives you a link to share. Sign in once; nothing is stored by PolyField.
    • Portuguese added to the available languages.
    • Field referee sign-off for results cards, throw rotation so every throw is shown the same way round whatever the EDM's position, and statistics fixes (including an option to include events that haven't started).

  3. PolyField Server 1.10.3

    • Windows licence prompt after a Windows Update. Recent Windows 11 builds (24H2+) silently dropped an identifier meaning a valid, activated licence was rejected on the next launch — Fixed so previously activated licences validate again automatically — no re-activation needed.

  4. PolyField & Track Displays 4.2.3

    Combined Events scoring

    • Athletes competing in a combined event (track) are now scored automatically from their performance using the 2026 UKA/ESAA points tables.
    • A new optional Combined Event column can be added to the Results widget, with a toggle to append "pts" after the score.
    • Blank returns and non-finishers (DNS / DNF / DQ, etc.) correctly show no score.

    Countdown overlay

    • Rebuilt to work like the Records overlay — draggable, individually configurable sub-elements: Caption, Event Name (Current), a Custom-text element for quick messages, and the Timer.

    Reliability

    • Packet-loss self-heal: start-list flush and clock heal-on-result recover cleanly from dropped UDP packets.
    • Text overlays and desktop time now reach remote screens reliably; everything syncs to the desktop clock.
    • UDP debug log gains a reset button.
    • Additional LSS script added polyfield-backup.lss enabling recovery of start lists and rebuilding should packet loss occur or a corrupted start list is received.

    Diagnostics

    • New Send Diagnostic section (collapsible, above Backup Lynx Files) bundles logs, config, layouts and current input files into a zip and opens a pre-filled email to support@polyfield.co.uk.

  5. PolyField Server 1.10.2

    OpenTrack import restored — uses the canonical /x/… paths (OpenTrack retired the locale-prefixed /en-gb/x/…/json/ routes, which now 404 to a login page). Clear message when nothing imports — "Start lists are not published or are empty — N event(s) skipped" instead of "imported 0". (This is what you hit with surrey-ce: the start lists just aren't published yet.) Announcer feed newest-first, folded in.

  6. PolyField & Track Displays 4.2.2

    • New optional Combined Event points column for the results table and multi-result widgets. Add it to a widget in the layout builder; a "pts" postfix toggle appears when the column is in use.
    • Each track performance is scored from the official 2026 UKA/ESAA Combined Events Score Tables, chosen automatically by event and gender — covering all age groups (U13–U20, Senior and Masters).
    • Non-finishers (DNS/DNF/DQ) and non-scoring events show no score.

    Fixes

    • Results header now keeps the wind reading pinned to the right and no longer lets it be clipped by the last column (e.g. a narrow points or spacer column); the event name spans the remaining width.

  7. PolyField & Track Displays 4.2.1

    Four fixes:

    • Reassembly — datagrams are now buffered until the broadcast terminator (results-end) and parsed as a whole, so mid-row splits heal.

    • None lane — the live parser was keeping lane="None" literally, and the de-dupe-by-lane then treated every un-laned athlete as the same lane. Now None → no-lane.

    • \DNS EVT rows parsed as athletes (fixes the EVT-fallback path).

    • Clock re-arm resets a stopped clock to READY on a new event.

  8. PolyField Server 1.10.0

    • Correct sector orientation everywhere — on-screen scatter, social/PDF exports and the display board now derive the sector centre line from the measured right line and the side the throws actually landed on, so plots no longer render rotated or on the wrong side.
    • Average landing angle is measured from the sector centre line (no more nonsense like 121°) and now shows the side it favours, e.g. "7.4° Right". The redundant Left Bias stat was removed (raw Attempts Left/Right stay).
    • Weighted OpenTrack codes (DT2K, HT7.26K, JT800…) classify correctly, so the global heatmap populates.
    • Heatmap image exports use the competition date (not the day they were generated).
